KINDLY Gift Guide - Gifts with Meaning

We are on a mission to get really personal with our gifting this year.

Inspired by our friend, Eva, who runs Henley Scan, and her intent to “Make your memories more accessible”, we thought it would be lovely to dig out our favourite images of loved ones and frame them as gifts. We are all guilty of keeping photos stored away on devices or up in the attic, never being seen, printed, framed and displayed for us to enjoy, but Eva and her team apply some digital magic to restore all those old and faded photos to make them good as new.

As designers, we always think of an aesthetic twist, many full-colour photos look great, but for a timeless look try getting them printed in sepia or black & white. Pair your prints with upcycled frames and you have a thoughtful and inexpensive gift that people will love. (Extra tip – you can gather frames cheaply from charity shops and paint them all a single colour to create a strong impact).
